Life Skills

All-round development beyond the syllabus — skills for life, taught alongside academic excellence.

Learning that stays for life

VBV, as an esteemed institution, introduced Life Skills classes as part of its co-curricular activities in 2010. The programme supports all-round development — helping students excel in academics while also building the personal, social and practical skills they will carry well beyond school.

Sessions are integrated into the school routine and delivered in age-appropriate ways — through discussion, activity, role-play and reflection. Students practise communication, collaboration, decision-making, empathy and responsibility — learning to manage themselves, work with others and make thoughtful choices in everyday life.

What it builds

Communication, collaboration, self-management and decision-making — practised, not just preached.

How it runs

Regular co-curricular periods within the timetable — interactive, participative and age-appropriate.

Why it matters

Academic excellence matters — life skills make sure it translates into a life well lived.
