Girinagar, Bengaluru — an institution that blends Indian values with modern learning. Founded in 2001 by Dr. V.S. Lakshmi with the patronage of Pejawar Mutt, and guided today by a committed management and faculty.
An institution built brick by brick
Dr. Venkata Rama Seetalakshmi (Dr. V.S. Lakshmi), Gynecologist and Obstetrician — who rose from LMP to FRCS from London — started Vijaya Bharathi Vidyalaya by combining her own land with Pejawar Mutt land holdings, with the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi. Over time she built the school brick by brick into one of the region's most reputed institutions. She expired in 2001, but her contribution is remembered forever.
