Gynecologist & Obstetrician · FRCS (London)
Dr. Venkata Rama Seetalakshmi (Dr. V.S. Lakshmi) was a Gynecologist and Obstetrician by profession. She came up in life from a humble background as LMP, finally pursued and achieved the pinnacle in her profession as FRCS from London.
She had an ambition of dedicating her career in the field of education by starting a primary school at Girinagar. To pursue her ambition, she sought the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi.
With the patronage of Sri Sri Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji, she started her brainchild “VIJAYA BHARATHI VIDYALAYA” educational institution by combining her own land and Pejawar Mutt land holdings. Over a period of time, she built her school brick by brick and made it one of the reputed, well-known schools in the region.
She expired in the year 2001, but her contribution to the field of education is remembered forever by society.
