Karate

Discipline, fitness and self-confidence — co-curricular Karate that complements academic excellence.

Since 2010 · All-round development

Strength of body, steadiness of mind

As an esteemed institution, Vijaya Bharathi Vidyalaya introduced Karate classes as part of its co-curricular activities in 2010. The programme supports all-round development — helping students excel academically while growing stronger, more disciplined and more confident.

Karate training nurtures focus, respect, fitness and self-defence — qualities that carry into the classroom and beyond. Sessions are conducted by trained instructors within the school timetable, with grading and belt examinations and opportunities to represent the school at inter-school competitions.

What it builds

Discipline, stamina, coordination, confidence and respect — on and off the mat.

How it runs

Regular sessions within school hours with graded progression and periodic assessments.

Beyond school

School teams participate in inter-school events — learning to compete with grace and grit.
