Playground
Open ground in the heart of Bangalore — for athletics, team games and the joy of play.
Room to run, space to become
Vijaya Bharathi Vidyalaya gives importance not only to basic education, but also to encouraging and developing sports personalities across indoor and outdoor games. Having playground facilities within Bangalore city schools is a matter of luxury — at VBV, students have a dedicated playground that lets them excel in both indoor and outdoor disciplines.
The ground hosts daily PE periods, house practices, athletics, annual sports day and inter-school fixtures. Much attention is given to identifying and nurturing sporting talent — admitting and motivating sports personalities so they inspire peers. The same open ground doubles as an assembly and event space, giving the campus a rare sense of openness in Girinagar.
Structured PE, playground time and house practice — fitness as a daily habit for every child.
Inter-house, inter-school and district events — learning to prepare, compete and lead.
Teamwork, resilience and fair play — lessons from the field that last a lifetime.
